Terms of Use

These terms cover the website northstave.app and the apps published by Northstave LLC (“Northstave,” “we,” “us”). Apps downloaded from the App Store are also licensed under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

© 2025–2026 Northstave LLC. All rights reserved.. The software, text, graphics, logos, and other content we publish are owned by Northstave LLC unless a credit says otherwise. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from them except as allowed by these terms, the App Store license, or applicable law.

App Store listings, this site, and in-app credits should name Northstave LLC as the copyright holder — not an individual developer.

License to use the apps

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use each app you download, on Apple devices you own or control, as Apple's terms allow. The apps are licensed, not sold. We do not require an account with Northstave.

Your content

Content you create in an app stays on your device, and in your iCloud when that app offers sync. You own it. We do not claim a license to use it, because we cannot see it. Each app's privacy policy is the disclosure of what that app actually does with data.

Purchases

Some apps offer an optional one-time unlock through Apple's In-App Purchase. Payment is processed by Apple. Refunds are handled under Apple's refund policy. We do not sell subscriptions.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the apps or this site (including attempting to disrupt them, reverse-engineer them except where the law allows, or using them to violate the law). We may stop offering an app or a feature.

Not advice

Our apps are tools. They are not professional advice. In particular:

• Loadcraft: Plates & Workouts — Loadcraft's plate math and generated workouts are tools, not coaching or medical advice. You are responsible for training safely.
• Quietworth — Quietworth is a tracker, not an advisor. Nothing in the app is financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
• Voice Log: Talk & Track — Voice Log captures and exports what you log. It does not diagnose, interpret, treat, or advise. It is not a medical device, and it is not a substitute for care from a clinician.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site and the apps are provided “as is.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Features that depend on Apple services or third-party data may be unavailable when those services are down.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Northstave LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or the apps. Our total liability for any claim relating to an app will not exceed the amount you paid for that app's unlock (or zero, if the app is free).

Changes

We may update these terms. The “last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
