Closeout Privacy Policy

Closeout is developed by Northstave LLC (“Northstave,” “we,” “us”). This policy describes Closeout as it ships — what stays on your device, what (if anything) leaves it, and who can see it.

Data we collect

We do not collect personal information from Closeout. There is no Northstave account, no Northstave server, and no advertising or analytics SDK in the app. We do not sell your data.

• Content you create in the app is stored on your device. We cannot read it.
• iCloud. If you are signed into iCloud, Closeout may sync that content through your personal iCloud account using Apple CloudKit. That data is associated with your Apple ID. We do not have access to it. If the app lets you share with family, sharing happens inside Apple's iCloud between you and the people you invite — not through us.
• Diagnostics. If you opt in, Apple may share aggregated, anonymized crash and performance reports with us through App Store Connect. These do not identify you. We do not ship a third-party crash or analytics SDK.

How we use data

Because your content stays on your device (or in your iCloud), it is used only to provide Closeout's features. We do not use it for advertising or profiling.

Third parties

Closeout relies on Apple platform services (iCloud, Camera, Photo library). Your use of those services is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Closeout does not call third-party network services of its own.

Camera and photos

Closeout asks for Camera and Photo library permission only when you use a feature that needs it. Photos and captures stay with your Closeout data (on device and, if enabled, in your iCloud). They are not uploaded to Northstave.

Purchases

Closeout does not currently offer in-app purchases. If that changes, payments would be handled by Apple; we would not receive your payment details.

Children

Closeout is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Because your data lives on your device, you remain in control of it. Deleting the app removes its on-device data. iCloud copies can be managed in your device's iCloud settings. Where Closeout stores user content, it offers a non-proprietary export so you can take your data with you.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
