Welcome to Northstave.

Northstave is an independent software studio building small, focused apps for iOS. We started it for a simple reason: we wanted to make the kind of software we actually want to use — calm, private, and honest.

What we're building

Right now we're working on three apps:

• TrailWeight — a backpacking trip planner that turns your gear list into pack weight you can feel.
• MenuPlan — on-device AI meal planning that builds a week you'll actually cook.
• Clarity — an insight-first take on digital wellbeing, with a one-time price and no guilt trips.

This blog is where we'll post release notes, dev notes, and the occasional behind-the-scenes look at how these apps come together. No newsletters to wrangle, no growth hacks — just updates when we have something worth sharing.
