Clarity Privacy Policy

Clarity is developed by Northstave LLC (“Northstave,” “we,” “us”). We designed Clarity to respect your privacy. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.

Data we collect

Clarity is built to keep your information on your device. We do not operate accounts for the app, and we do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

  • Content you create in the app is stored on your device and, if you enable it, in your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to it.
  • Health & Screen Time data, where an app uses it, is accessed through Apple's frameworks with your permission and stays on your device. It is never transmitted to us.
  • Diagnostics. If you opt in, Apple may share aggregated, anonymized crash and performance reports with us through App Store Connect. These do not identify you.

How we use data

Because your content stays on your device, we use it only to provide the app's features. We do not use it for advertising or profiling.

Third parties

Clarity relies on Apple platform services (such as iCloud and, where applicable, HealthKit and Screen Time). Your use of those services is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children

Clarity is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Because your data lives on your device, you remain in control of it. Deleting the app removes its on-device data. iCloud data can be managed in your device's iCloud settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
